This is a standard part of at least XP and probably Windows 2K. (Silicon Integrated Systems – SiS)
SiS Keyboard Daemon. System Tray utility which gets installed by the drivers of the latter day SiS VGA cards.

If you delete it something probably won't work anymore - perhaps your keyboard and/or display which would be a real problem.

    Regards,
    Kevin

This from AnswersThatWork regarding KHooker.exe (Silicon Integrated Systems – SiS):

"SiS Keyboard Daemon. System Tray utility which gets installed by the drivers of the latter day SiS VGA cards. The utility itself is not of much use in our opinion and may occasionally be contributing to Windows startup problems, although we have not been able to establish this for certain.

    Recommendation :
    Delete using Startup Manager."

    This from the pacs-portal site:

"SiS Keyboard Daemon. System Tray utility which gets installed by the drivers of the latter day SiS VGA cards. Can cause errors at startup and isn't required"
