    I've just purchased a Dvd-cdrw burner (KHRW522452).
It will not copy a regular cd on a Cd-r disk. It tells me the I have the wrong media in the burner and that I need a Cd-rw disk. Is this the way it is, or have I disabled something I shouldn't have?
It copies real nice with a Cd-rw, but I'd rather use the regular Cd-r which is cheaper and holds more bytes.
    Thanks in Advance: Karal

Unless this is a very unusual drive, it's probably either broken or simply not compatible with the CD-R media you're using. Have you tried some other brands of CD-R media?
