I don't know if my question pertains to Vista or not, but I have 2 computers connected to windstream dsl via a wired router & modem. The newer of my 2 computers is a HP with Windows Vista. When I do certain things, such as change pages, or for example, in myspace, I may click on a friend's profile and I get kicked completely offline. My modem begins flashing as if it is trying to get me back online, and the computer icon bottom right of the task bar show local connection not internet connection. Performing the same function with my older computer that has Windows XP has never kicked me offline. Has anyone ever had this type of problem and could the blame be placed on something other than Vista?
