Had an earlier version of Kodak easyshare software on a Kodak printer that died. E mailed pictures easily from the software program. Attached a new Kodak printer and version 5.2 software. All worked fine except when trying to email it says unable to connect to Kodak email server. Emailed Kodak who said to try to "repair" the software but that didn't work. Then said to remove software and download the newer 6.2 software. Still didn't work. All other internet and email through outloook express works fine. Outlook express is the newer version. Kodak is in the address book and a friend to the McAfee programs. Only one firewall turned on. Suggestions? Windows XP

    Hiya and welcome

Which version of the Macafee Security software are you running, as I assume its Macafee as you mentioned it above :)

The firewall may be blocking access to Kodak, so you'll have to allow Kodak to gain access to the web. Look at this as well:

Doubleclick on the firewall shown in the taskbar near the clock (red M).
In the security Center that opens up, on the left select Personal Firewall Plus.
Next, select the option to View the Internet Applications List.

Is Kodak Email Server listed, and if so, does it say Allow Full Access?

If its not showing, select the option New Allowed Application.
Navigate, using the Program Files folder, to Kodak easyshare.exe and press Open.

It should now be saying it has full access.
