After I have transfered photos from my camera in high quality how can I resize down selected photos so I can place into a website. I've selected photos, tools, preferences, lowered the pixels, applied, but it still says original pixel size
    Thanks

You need to have the ability to compress the photo by a greater amount than it's been compressed in-camera, but save it as a separate file to preserve the quality of the original image.

I don't use Easyshare so I don't know if it has quality settings for JPEG compression. But it probably has. Open a photo. Click on "Save As", select JPEG as the format and look for a option or a slider to adjust the amount of compression. A higher compression value will reduce the size of the resulting file compared to a lower compression value.
