    wasnt sure where to put this ...but..
    anyways

    my comp started to freeze like every 15 seconds that lasts 3-4 seconds long... its really annoying and i cant seem to get rid of it

    I suggest you install and run Adware SE, and Spybot: Search and Destroy on your computer. You can download both for free from www.downloads.com - make sure you use the Update feature in both before scanning and fix all problem either finds.

    Yes, but for next time put hijackthis into its own folder in case you do need to restore any backups. You can also copy the existing backups with Hijackthis to a folder just in case.
