I got the sy-p4x400 dragon ultra motherboard and it came with a 4 plug usb box and a lan link led. All is hooked up in correct order but got no led light. If a reverse the wires it blinks when in use. Is this what I should do or should I leave it the other way. Should that light be on all the time or only when in use? Are is it only on when linked from elsewhere?

It depends on what that led is supposed to represent. What color is it?

Is it for connection or activity? Check your user manual.

If it's for connection, then it should stay on all the time, as long as you are connected to a network. This is usually a green led.

If it's for activity then it should only come on when you are sending and receiving data. So blinking would be normal. This is usually a yellow led.
