I have an Ethernet peer-to-peer network consisting of two desktops and a laptop connected via a hub. The desktops both work great. One is running Windows XP Home Edition, the other is Windows 98se. The desktops can see each other and the laptop. The desktops can copy/move files to and from each other and the laptop.

The laptop is running Windows Me. It is connected via a Belkin Notebook Network Card (FD5020).

When I boot the laptop, I cannot see the two desktops. The two desktops can see the laptop and can copy/move files to and from the laptop shared hard drive. If I log off windows on the laptop, then the laptop automatically logs on to the LAN and connects to the shared drives on the desktops.

How can I set up the laptop so that I do not have to follow the sequence, boot, logoff, logon, in order to connect to my LAN ?
