My laptop does not run on battery anymore. It needs to be plugged in all the time. Down by the battery icon, it says 0% available (plugged in, charging)
Is it time to buy a new battery? Or is there any other reason for this?
Thanks

Almost certainly the battery. How old is it and how do you use it and maintain it?

If its four years old it probably needs replaced since its not charging.Laptop batteries are easy to replace and dont cost a lot. If you get a generic battery make sure its the exact replacement as what you have now.Battery maintenance is running it down then letting it recharge. But i dont think thats going to work on your battery. If its not the battery the only thing left would be a power supply problem of some sort.
