I've burned a CD of MPEGs and AVIs that works fine in the CD-ROM on my desktop. When I put the CD into my laptop, it reads the title of the disk as well as the different files on it. When I go to play a file though, Real Player freezes and WM player says it performed an illegal operation and shuts down. If I click on details, it says it caused in invalid page fault in module <unknown> I'm not sure whether the problem is with the CD-ROM drive, or with the earlier version of Windows and Windows MP on my laptop. (98 1st edition and WMP 8 as opposed to 98 SE and WMP 9 on the desktop.) Can anyone help?
