This laptop operates on Windows 10.
    Intel Celeron Processor N3350.
    Aspire ES1 - 132.

I don't know if its necessary information but here it is.
    Have already updated graphics driver.
Have already disabled all startups and most services.

So, this laptop keeps lagging even though I have like only one program opened like firefox. Sometimes I'll open two programs at once and that's when it goes so slow like what. Most of the time I think its because of the WIFI being opened because that's mostly when it happens. Also disabled/minimized most animations

I hope you can somehow see what's wrong with me laptop and suggest/instruct me on some things I need to do. I really need to deal with this since this has been going on for so long. Any help would be appreciated.

How much RAM do you have?

You don't have enough RAM to run Win 10. The bare bones minimum is 2 GB. But to get good performance you need 8 GB. When you don't have enough RAM, Windows will use the hard drive to swap in and swap out programs, which ever one is in front. It won't say no to running multiple programs, but it will thrash the hard disk. And hard drives are much much more slower than RAM.

Oh wow, I never thought it going out like this. Well, sounds good. This site didn't disappoint. Thanks for letting me know.

Though, I still kinda wish to know how I can solve or lessen this problem. Anything besides I guess, switching to Windows 8.

Besides your Acer Aspire ES1-132 laptop having only 2 GB of RAM, it has a weak processor.
It does support up to 8 GB of RAM, but 8 GB may be over-kill because of that weak processor.

Is your laptop running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 10?
If it's running the 32-bit version, 4 GB of RAM is the most it'll recognize and use.

It runs on the 64-bit version

Well, in that case, are you implying that I can somehow spice up me RAM? How so?

Right click on Task Bar, choose Task Manager. Go to Startup tab. Right click disable the programs that start up upon sign in. Leave the Security one alone.

Go Start > Settings > Privacy > Background Apps and turn it off. You won't get email notifications until you open up the mail app.

The above would help a little bit.

Oh, well I guess I haven't tried disabling background apps yet like that. Disabled all of my services tho.

I seriously hope you have NOT disabled all of the entries in the "Services" list.

    Nope, I haven't.
My laziness has come to prove its usefulness.

Edit: Soo, anything I can somehow do to spice up me RAM?
You're implying it in a way that I can somehow do so? Like upgrading me hard drives or something?

Per what I said in post #6, your laptop has a very weak processor.
Because of that, increasing its current 2 GB of RAM to 8 GB would be a waste of money.
However, you should increase it to 4 GB because 2 GB is not enough.
It has 1 memory slot, so its current 2 GB module needs to be replaced with a 4 GB module.

If you had disabled all of the entries in the "Services" list, your laptop would not have started and worked.

You do NOT appear to be computer-literate, so you should ask someone who is to help you.

Not sure if I could tho, I entered my laptop model in a site and seemed that there were no available upgrades for RAM. Idk if it really said that I could remove the module tho.

And yeah, I know, disabling services, bad.

Ok, this site didn't disappoint. Thanks for your help.
