I have a Inspiron 5100 laptop. The problem started 3 days ago while I were watching a movie. My laptop automatically restarted by itself. Then it comes to the screen where give me options to select whether I want to start in the normal mode, safe mode, safe mode with networking and etc.

Regardless which option I am selecting, window will restart itself again and then it comes to the screen where ask me to select the options to load window. I have been trying it again and again, and it just can't load the window software with restarting itself.

How can I have this problem solve? Is this cause by the video card? Any helps are very appreciate. Thank you.

A number of things can cause this to happen. The most common is over heating so check and see if the fans are operating correctly so that your getting proper air flow.

The laptop temperature is OK. Fans are running when I have the laptop on.

Is cmd.exe popping up with a shutdown command at startup? I so this is the same problem I once had and I can tell you what I did to sort it.

Nope, there is no cmd.exe pop out at startup. When the laptop starts, it straight away show the choose safe mode, normal mode screen. Then keep doing this again and again.
