    hi,

    my keyboard is now displaying wrong letters when i turned it on this morning. i am currently using the on-screen keyboard. for example.

    v = vb45
    b = vb54r
    4 = vb54
    5 = b5r
    s = xzs2w
    q = q`1

    i have made sure that the num lock is turned off. restarting the comp did not help.any ideas would be appreciated ty :)

    I have got the same/similar problem, but only when I use "shift".
    @ = "
    " = @
    number [the symbol ] = £
    and a few others that I can't describe.

    Bubbi, with errors that bad I would think it is very likely your keyboard is faulty. Try using another keyboard and see if the problem persists. You could also try cleaning it, hold it upside down and gently tap it to free any dirt stuck beneath the keys and blow it out with a can of compressed air.

    Bruceboy114, if you read the forum rules before posting you will see that you should have started your own thread. But, I suspect your problem is due to the keyboard language settings, follow this: http://www.conversationexchange.com/resources/keyboard-language.php
