Hi, first post here non the less here is my problem and hope will get someone to give me answer to what the fart is wrong with it.

so my laptop keyboard lost response on some of the keys, so i got exactly same keyboard only new to replace it. I took old one out it came out nice an easy, and plunged new one in and tested if it works and it did a magic trick where every single key was out of place IE pressing "W" typed "R" and pressing"Backspace" typed "3" just to name two all keys responded but not how they should.

so I unplugged keyboard and checked wires and connectors non of it had any sign of damage or wear. plugged back in same thing, plugged old keyboard and it was same all keys mixed up(unresponsive keys stayed unresponsive) .

if anyone know any idea what could have caused it and if there is way to fixing and how.

that works for keyboards then there is no numpad but there is numlock mine is bit diffrent so googled solutions not working as not just letters are typing incorrect but also functional key IE F1-F12 and arrows , spacebar , shift , esc, crl are mixed up typing letters or symbols. so changing language would not help.
its not a driver issue as i already tried that thing, and creating key short cuts not gonna help that.

Picorosan,

I've removed the content of your post and replaced it with a link to the source. Please do not copy and paste solutions from other sites as that is a copyright issue. You can either rewrite it in your own words or preferably just post a link to the page.

Attach an external keyboard and post what happens with that.

Try the onscreen keyboard (you have to press osk and enter - if your keys are all wrong, you'll need to determine how to type the letters osk).

Try going into the Bios (I think it's the F2 key, should show which key on screen just after switching on) and see if the laptop's keyboard works properly in there.
