Laptop keys won’t work

    for some reason my L and O keys on my laptop have suddenly stopped working preventing me from logging into my computer how can I fix it

    how do you know they have stopped
    are you getting numbers instead - check numlock is not on

    Nothing happens when I press those keys on my laptop. (Using my phone for this website)

    Is the onscreen keyboard available BEFORE logging into a computer? I suspect not.

    I'm not sure if a USB keyboard would work before logging into Windows.
    You could attach a USB keyboard and see if that allows you to log in.

    Yes, it can be accessed at the log in screen. There is an Ease of Access icon on the bottom of the screen to access the keyboard on Windows 8-10

    Thanks Darrin. Since I don't run and have not seen 8/8.1 or 10 closeup, I was not aware of this. Seems like a good edition to the OS.
