My HP laptop will no longer connect to my mobile WiFi device. I can see the device in the list of available networks but there is no connection.

I have updated Windows 10 but this had no affect. I have followed instructions on "forgetting device" but this isn't possible as the device doesn't show in that particular option.

I can connect with no issues with my phone. So I'm assuming the issue is with the laptop and not the actual MiFi device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You can try 2 things.
    1) Right click on the WiFi icon in the systray on the bottom right, choose Open Network & Internet Settings, then Change Adapter Options. Then right click on the WiFi and choose Disable. Then re-Enable.

    2) If that doesn't make the WiFi forget everything, then you can go to Control Panel, Device Manager, find the WiFi device and right click Uninstall it. Then reboot your laptop, Windows will detect and re-install the device using the driver it has. That Should make the WiFi behave as a new one.

This may not fix the issue, but it follows the suggestion you got for 'fogetting'.
