That Dell Inspiron 15 5000 laptop has a pretty decent processor and graphics, and it has 8 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, so it should do fine for performing normal computing functions. (y)

I'm not a gaming expert, nor do I know what the recommended system requirements are for Sims 3 and Sim 4, so I can't advise you how well that laptop will play those games.

Thanks for your advice. I just want to find out if it would handle running Sims 3 and the expansion packs. I might upgrade to Sims 4 too at some point

The Dell laptop on the left has this processor and has 8 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM.

The Dell laptop on the right has this processor and has 8 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM.

Both have the same Intel UHD Graphics 620 integrated graphics device.

Personally, I would buy the one on the left.

My only concern with the one on the left is that I can’t see an optical drive listed. I would prefer a CD/DVD writer integrated into the laptop

Both laptops should have pretty much the same hardware.
It's my guess the seller didn't list the complete specs in both columns.
If you have any question about either laptop, you should contact the seller.
