I'm using a lenovo G40-80 laptop running in windows 10 OS. My laptop's screen have been turning on and off all for a while. I could still see the running applications but I cant use my keyboard because it looks like it is ghost-typing. The volume and brightness is appearing alternately on the screen like it's being pressed at the same time then the screen would turn off then turn back on after seconds and sometimes even a minute.

Connect it to an external monitor. If the problem is still there it is not the laptop screen or the cable to it etc, but the hardware in the laptop, perhaps the graphic chip.
If you do not have an external monitor then take the laptop to a relative, friend or colleague who has and will let you connect
If that is not possible take it to a computer repair business and ask them to connect to a monitor, the charge to do such should be minimal.
That is the first test and other attempts to find the problem are pointless until you have done that test

I tried removing the battery and giving it a rest for a whole day the n this morning i tried to boot it up but i think it got worse? The lenovo logo shows but after a sec it shuts down. What should I do if it's the graphic chip that's causing the problem?
