    hey guys! and girls too!
    i having hard time with my laptop.
    it started just like that,out of the blue, like all the problems.
    it doesn't start. It's an IBM 2001 ( the year when my grandma had the first date). 1 GbHz , 512 RAM, win xp sp1
    when i start it, it just stops ...with the logo IBM on the screen.
    it doesn't go in bios or to boot it.
    I stayed one day almost 6 hours turning it off and on.
    sometimes it starts.
    when i start it and i press on Pause it says: BIOS shadowed, Video Bios shadowed. All the others are PASSED
    Now i' m trying to start it , to get a BIOS update. I'm not sure what to do.
    Another problem with this notebook- the battery is gone. But this doesn't affect the all others. It's all the time plugged in.
    I would really appreciate your opinions and suggestions.

    THANK YOU ALL !

    ```peace and love, even binary!``````
