My laptop makes an annoying static noise when it is plugged in to the power cord. If i remove the power cord, the static noise goes away.

I noticed this in my old desktop when i ran off the built in sound. I added a sound card and the static disappeared.

It's just gotta be some kind of interference im thinking.

Im just curious if there's anything i can really do to fix this problem. Aside from buying an external sound card setup for the laptop, does anyone have any solutions for this problem?

    Thanks :D
