I have an HP ProBook 4540s that stutters when accepting input via both keyboard and mouse. This happens not just in windows, but also in the BIOS itself. Issue is also present when booting to safe mode, and in POST. I am a bit stumped, but I have run a memtest from the UBCD and it checked out fine, as did my HDD. Any ideas?
Update: apparently this also applies to the power button. I have to hold it till the once in 2 seconds of input comes around. Also, the battery does not charge.
