I have a problem with my laptop
    Its a Toshiba Satellite C855-1M1
The problem that I have is that my charger needs to be plugged in or the battery runs out in about 7 mins.
So I always have my charger plugged in.
The thing is, as i turn my laptop on, it shows 'starting windows' then the screen goes black, so I cant login.

    My battery is pabas260 4.200mAh
    My os- Windows 7
    i3 processor.
    Any help is appreciated!

Power issues. Either the battery is dead or the cord. Or outlet, I guess, but yeah, those are power issues.

Check the cord as well; battery could be fine just not getting juice.

The screen goes black but you still have activity lights? or laptop turns off? If you still have some activity lights on the keyboard and fans are still spinning, it could just be your video card drivers. When the screen says Starting Windows, it is loading drivers. Try booting into safe mode.

Save yourself some cash and get a cheap compatible battery on Ebay.
