    Greetings,

I have this extremely annoying problem with my HP laptop. It will not shut down completely, shut down process runs fine, screen turns off but laptop lights and fan keeps working. It appears that HDD is turned off aswell since it has no activity at all.

So what happens is, shut down process runs fine, screen turns off, goes black, but fans and power light keep working.

I tried everything that comes into my mind to solve this, reinstalled all of the drivers, changed process kill time in registry, updated bios, enabled bios defaults, uninstalled several programms and terminated quite a few processes, nothing works.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you!
