It will work when I connect it using an ethernet cable but it won't connect to the wireless.

When I run the network diagnostics, it says The wireless network key does not match or something like that

Are you entering the correct encryption key?

Not entering any key...My router is unsecured so I shouldn't need one right?

Are you sure you're connecting to your router? You shouldn't be receiving an error related to a key if you're connecting to your own wireless router configured without encryption.

    Yeah, I'm sure.

I've never used this laptop before so I might have to change some settings or something...i don't know though

    Bump...

I watched a video yesterday and it showed someone open up "Wireless Zero Configuration" I gave it a shot and to my surprise, it connected as soon as I opened it...I didn't even change any settings when I opened it.

But once I turned it off, I couldn't get it to connect again but maybe this will help someone pinpoint the problem
