Ever since I switched to Explorer 6 I have great
trouble to start my browser(Internet Explorer) Only occasionally and
unexpectedly it starts. I downloaded Opera hoping it
would solve my trouble but it behaves the same way- no
start, no response. Mysteriously- the Netscape works
without much trouble. What is the cause of all that?
I operate Pentium III Dell Dimension XPS T500 and
Windows 98, and my Ram is 382, and disk space 19 G,out
    of which 12 is free.
I made a thorough scan in the hope that it would fix
errors, and it may well have fixed other errors , but not this one; the
erectal disfunction of the browser, you might call
    it...Help me, good doctors,please!
    With Best regards,
Henryk Fantazos at www. [email protected]

fantazos ... what kind of scan did you run ? If it was not a virus scan then ..........
My advice is go to housecalls & run the free online virus scanner.

if you need a good & yet free virus scanner you can add to your system... go get AVG. Click here to download AVG

then there is spyware ... go get Ad-Aware
Click here to download it Spyware is a menace & causes similiar problems.

this should keep you in pretty good shape
Now after all this see if you still are having trouble browsing

Come back & post the results so we can help
