I rebooted my computer after installing a couple small programs from the internet. When I restarted Ad-aware went nuts with about 15-20 different files. My internet was down so I couldn't check the importance of said files. I blocked all of them rather than allow just to be on the safe side. That was the wrong thing to do because directly afterwards all of my desktop icons stoped running. I tried to open some programs through C: but NO EXE's work either! This makes my machine practically useless. I have registry fix installed on my computer but no way to get to it because it is an exe. I am extremely frustrated and need to fix this problem immediately.

Yeah the code for that site is bad and I was told to go to system tools then system restore BUT THAT IS AN EXE! I did find a reg fix for the lnk/exe problem but reg doesnt work either. Safe mode doesnt allow me to access the files either. I think I'm just going to take it to the shop tomorrow.
