I received a LCD Monitor: (brand: Avidav) yesterday that was known to have issues. I plugged in the power and attached the video cable and the screen worked, but was flickering a bit. I turned it off for the night, and this morning I turned it on and it took it a little bit to finally come on. About 2 seconds after that, the screen goes blank, yet the power button was still lit. The monitor has speakers on the bottom portion, and you can hear them come on, then pop off whenever the screen goes blank.

Is there anything I can do to fix this myself? I would take it apart, but I don't have a guide to do that, since Ive heard it can be dangerous.

    Any help/tips are appreciated.

    Thanks!

EDIT: I have gotten it to stay on today, but the flickering it absolutely horrible. One screen is darker than the other. I'm thinking it might have to do with the internal speakers?
