LCD is getting better all the time but for right now for gaming CRT is still the way to go.

LCDs have improved remarkably over the last two years, I have a relatively cheap 17" 16ms one (see my sig) and I don't notice any lag or blurring in games. The best ones are 8ms, with 4ms due out soon. A CRT is still better since they support higher refresh rates and can handle varying resolutions better, but I prefer an LCD for web browsing, word processing etc. because they have clearer text.

I would go for a CRT just for the fact that for the price of a good 17 or 19 inch you can get a 21 inch CRT cheaper.

If you are anywhere near Las Vegas and want to pick it up, I'll dump a 21 inch Gateway CRT monitor for $50 :D
