When i start my laptop my mouse clickers work just fine, after using my laptop for a few minutes (time varies), my left mouse clicker starts to not work right. I have to click on something on the screen multiple times in order to do anything. And sometimes when I have clicked on something on the screen, it drags it around like an image, even text, web browser tabs, just about anything. Sometimes i don't even have to click on something to drag it around, sometimes i will be just sitting there using my laptop with my fingers resting on the mouse clickers and the mouse pad and i will go to type something in or click on a button and it will drag around what i moved over with my mouse cursor. Sometimes when i click on any scroll bar once, it keeps on dragging it around like i have the left mouse clicker held down.

But if you use the touchpad buttons there is no problem? If so, try a different mouse. Or replace the batteries if a wireless mouse.

Try going to the laptop manufacturer website and downloading any updated software for Input Devices. If you need more guidance, please post the specs of your laptop, or at least the brand and model.
