I've bought a new video card and am currently trying to set up my machine to capture and edit video.

Starting Amcap, I get an error box that states,

"Sorry, you have no video capture hardware."

I've installed the VGA driver (obviously) and also the capture driver that came with my card. When I check the device manager it lists in the "Video, Sound, Game Controllers" catagory a "Legacy Video Capture Device".

Isnt this video capture hardware? What specifically is Amcap looking for?

    Thank you in advance.
