I've had a Lenovo Ideapad Y40-70 for a month or so now and, although it worked this morning, it suddenly stopped turning on. When I push the power button, the light on the power button, the battery light, and the power light will come on white for a few seconds, and then nothing. It won't even boot to BIOS. I had the Lenovo logo show up for a fraction of a second like twice, but that was about it. I tried opening it up and taking out/putting back in the battery, and that didn't work. Nor did letting it sit and charge for a few hours as was recommended on another website.

Edit: I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. Correct me if I'm in the wrong board.

That model laptop appears to come with Windows 8.1 64-bit.
    Is that correct?

Did you buy it brand new a month or so ago, or is it a second-hand purchase from elsewhere?

Since you bought it brand new only a month or so ago, it's still under warranty, so you should return it to where you bought it.
