    The puzzle is this:

    1) It is a part of every one of my posts,
    2) It involves a particular computer language
    3) It is not a part of my TSG signature

What is it - in terms of the computer language I am making reference?

I'm going to take a shot at Binary (I think that's how it's spelled).

    Hi hannab,

No, but good guess based on the information I gave, and not even close!

Pay attention to the clues I gave, and then you can identify the part of every post that involves finding the solution - then it only gets harder to solve as there are a couple of follow on questions that need to be answered to solve the puzzle.

I will only answer yes or no to questions of the ilk - Is "this" the part of every post ...? etc...

P.S. Thank you for tackling this puzzle, and I must say providing me with some amount of amusement in providing it. This is a test of critical thinking!

Can I get credit for initiative even if I cheated? Googling your location details suggest that it is in ASCII format. Would that count as a 'language'?

    Hi TOGG,

In answer to your question, no. Read post #1 carefully. Separate the problem into parts and ask questions about each part.

    Hi Couriant,

You are on the right track, but you still have not solved the puzzle.

actually, I think html is the answer. It meets all the criteria, at least.

    Hi Gabriel,

No, not copy and paste, and definitely not HTML.

    Hi Tim,

HTML is not the answer. In my book, it is not exactly a general purpose computer language in which you would write a computer program, as it is pretty much used exclusively to render web page content. So, it does not qualify as a computer language (for writing programs) - i.e. HTML web pages are not computer programs, they are display rendering expression engines used exclusively for rendering web pages.

And, it does not meet all the criteria as you have asserted, which if you look it up will correct your assumption.
