Hiya,

I am receiving lewd emails and I would like to discover who is sending me these messages. For example, I've received yet another email this morning, details of which can be found below:

web_viagra <[email protected]>
To:
[email protected]

All for Beautiful Love and Sex

Please help me figure out who is sending me these emails as I believe there may be malicious intent involved.

Thank you

Hello and welcome to TSG.

The emails are being sent by spammers and you have little chance of finding out who is sending them or completely stopping them. If you suspect someone with malicious motives, they may have gotten your email address added to address lists used by spammers. You probably have no way of proving any given individual or group may have done this to you.

Receiving email from spammers and other dubious sources is part of what you have to deal with when you browse the internet.
Instead of getting upset about those emails, just delete them.
And DON'T be tempted to click or open any link that's in them.

Your only sure solution to this problem will be to change your email address and don't give it out to any person or any business that you don't want direct contact with. Sign up for a free email account at your favorite Portal website (Google, Yahoo!, Outlook, etc.) and create a second email account with them. Use that second email account as a 'junk' email account to keep your main email relatively clean. When in doubt, use your junk email address to answer/fill out forms online. Check back occasionally with this account to make sure nothing important is being missed - you can always go back to the company/website and change your email address to your real one if you find that the info you are getting is valuable to you.

And don't click on the 'unsubscribe' link in the message. It just proves to them that your email address is a valid one.
