Lexmark x5650es productivity studio failure

I've been running my Lexmark x5650es printer for several months without problems on my old Compaq Presario 6000 with xp home. Upon requesting to open Productivity Studio, a window will appear that says, "Printing Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for this inconvenience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost."
Have tried reinstalling printer software 2-3 times and have been on the phone with Lexmark support several hours. They downloaded another driver (cj5600en32) and also sent me a new cd in the mail but still not working. I also tried disabling my Kaspersky"s 2010 internet security software. I am able to print from Paint software and directly from the printer buttons after it downloads printing applications. I've read about the same problem others have had with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks:eek:
