Anyone have any experience or comments on this multi-function Lexmark X85 printer?

I just ordered a Dell desktop system for the home & am considering this printer but am curious if it's a good move or not.

    Thanks!

    Thanks, Jody! Anyone else?

I read the 1st review & especially liked the part of "being good for those on a tight budget"! LOL :)

All those reviews sound pretty positive!

Amazingly - my junky inkjet just died, so I may opt for one of those Lexmarks! Good timing . . .

I use the Lexmark X73 (sorry just a step down). The only problem I had was after the initial installation it fell off the connection and with the xp I had a heck of a time getting it back on. It's up and running now and I do like the Lexmark's as your basic unit. ;)

I've heard that there may be conflicts with XP....

    So far, so good....

    Anyone else?

All lexmarks suffer from the problem that they are cheap to buy but extremely expensive to run

The cartridges are more expensive than other brands and seem not to last as well as many others.

Lexmark products in the UK generally do not have a good reputation for reliabilty or for lexmark service or support
