i bought a new dvd writer of lg's. i connected it my self to the bios.
it connected to the bios with the same cable as the other regular burner i have and he was set to slave driver.
i started burning dvd's but there seemed to be a problem
when i put the dvd in a dvd reader, the movie is all crappy!
it stops all the time, it scrambles, and sometimes there are fue cubes appers in the screen like those you put to a person in tv wich you dont want to show he's fase!!
in the buttom line the movie that is being burned gets out crappy.
i tried to format my pc, i eaven tried to exchange the drive at the store with a new one, and nothing.
    i'm using nero 6
the burning procces seemes to be fine since the pc buffer is always on 100%
and the drive buffer is always between 98% to 95%.
so what the hell is the problem????????

my friend has lg dvd writer too (x8) and he's doing just fine,
he uses the same media as i do (silver line) and he writes at the same speed (x4)

(i have burned many movies, and most of them came out crappy!!!)
    please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First you dont connect the drive to the BIOS you connect it to the motherboard. But I digress. What type of media are you using? if its that cheap stuff that comes on a spindles then that might be the problem. Try to turn the write speed in Nero down to 2x or even 1x. It is normal for the drive buffer to be full. The buffer just caches the information being burnt. And finally, your dvd player just might not be compatible. Try it in a friends dvd player too.

hey man, first of all, i have burned the movie on silver line disks
the same disks my friend uses
and his writer burns just fine.
(he has lg dvd writer also (X8))

so you see its not about the media...
and my friend also writes in X4 mode and his movies gets out just fine
so it's not the problem, not the speed and not the media...
