Hi, i purchased lg dvd rom with 22x speed support which is of IDE interface type not sata type(these days sata dvd roms are also coming you know) and i configured it using cable select option niether master nor slave, just cable select option with supported double data rate card. But things are different here still its very slow not slow its very slow. if i write a full dvd of 4.5 gb disc it takes 50minutes to 1 hour i don't know why.Another thing is while writing the disk, system is in partially hanged situation like properly not able to play windows media player hanging and playing indicating its busy. In this regard kindly help me with suggession waiting for reply

That almost has to be an issue with the drive unless you have more than one burning program installed?
