Inspired by Johnny! ;)

Since we seem to have the crazy stuff that the Conservatives say well covered in the Trump Presidency thread (much of it well deserved), I thought that there should be a thread to also poke fun at the crazy stuff that the Liberals say as well.

Guess I will start with Al Gore and his statements this week.

Gore: Jet Stream 'Getting Loopier and Wavier,' So 'We Have a Global Emergency'
...."Hurricane Michael intensified as it reached the coast. And that's something relatively new," he said. "And the reason for it is, the ocean waters are much warmer than normal, so it's not getting cold waters churned up to weaken the storm. It just keeps on getting stronger."
Such crazy statements when history obviously states otherwise concerning rapidly developing hurricanes.
So... Let us look at this from a recorded history perspective.

Souce: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/outreach/history/

Florida Keys Labor Day Hurricane 1935 = September 1 - Category 1, September 2 - Category 5
Hurricane Hazel 1954 = October 14 - Category 1, October 15 - Category 4
Hurricane Audrey 1957 = June 26 - Category 2, June 27 - Category 4
Hurricane Camille 1969 = August 16 - Category 1, August 18 - Catefory 5
Hurricane Hugo 1989 = September 13 - Category 1, September 15 - Category 5
Hurricane Andrew 1992 = August 22 - Category 1, August 23 - Category 4
Hurricane Mitch 1998 = October 24 - Category 1, October 26 - Category 5
Hurricane Keith 2000 = September 29 - Tropical Storm, September 30 - Category 4
Hurricane Iris 2001 = October 6 - Category 1, October 8 - Category 4
Hurricane Isabel 2003 = September 7 - Category 1, September 8 - Category 4
Hurricane Dennis 2005 = July 6 - Category 1, July 7 - Category 4
AND = July 9 - Category 1, July 10 - Category 4
Hurricane Katrina 2005 = August 26 - Category 1 - August 28 - Category 5
Hurricane Rita 2005 = September 20 - Category 2, September 21 Categry 5
Hurricane Ike 2008 = September 3 - Category 1, September 4 - Category 4[/quote]

IMO, you should have started off with a USAToday article a few days ago where Hilary was inciting a call of disrespect for Republicans.

If you're going to beat a dead horse, Hilary's your gal :D

One more time: JAIL HER........lol!

I have no idea the politics of this individual, but this particular attitude of a fish and game commissioner doesn't jibe with his job description.

Idaho Fish and Game commissioner resigns in wake of controversial photos of Africa hunt
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...al-resigns-african-hunting-photos/1654174002/

This was his wife's first trip to Africa, according to the message, and she wanted to watch him and "'get a feel' of Africa."

"So I shot a whole family of baboons. I think she got the idea quick." the email read.

Shame on Lesley Stahl for challenging the President

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/10/14/trump-60-minutes-cbs-takeaways/1645388002/

Twice, Trump defended his knowledge of world politics and events by telling Stahl that he wasn’t “a baby,” and, after Stahl persisted on questions about his treatment of Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford, Trump told her, “I’m not going to get into it, because we won. It doesn’t matter. We won.”
When smart mouth Lesley challenged Sir Donald on global warming, he set her straight:

“There really is climate change,” the president answered, “I’m not denying climate change. But it could very well go back. You know, we’re talking about over millions of years.”
So there

And then, to rub salt into poor Sir Donald's wounds:
Lesley said:
Do you trust Kim Jong Un? Stahl asked
And did Sir Donald ever set her straight!

“Well, first of all, if I didn’t trust him, I wouldn’t say that to you,” Trump said. “Wouldn’t I be foolish to tell you right here, on ’60 Minutes.’”

He added, “But the fact is, I do trust him. But we’ll see what happens.”
So there. Liberals and their stupid questions

Stupid liberals

I cannot tell if this is a serious thread or if it is satire, much like Trump's presidency.

I just can't believe it took the AG ( too-tall Sessions ) to bring this to the attention of us in the peanut gallery,

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...gainst-campaign-judicial-activism/1653917002/

It's not the responsibility of the judicial system to make judgement calls on the imposition of policy decisions from the Oval Office when challenged.
How dare they

Stupid judges.

It's time someone took a stand.

Long live Molvania.

Liz Warren's silly DNA test was a boondoggle giving the Stain more ammo to deride. I do wish Dems would quit shooting themselves in the foot.

You are in the Controversial Topics section. You actively chose to come here... then actively clicked on this thread... then actively took the time to comment... on a forum that is obviously not computer-related. Silly you indeed.

Ignoring the rhetoric from Al, I find the list interesting in that it appears the greatest cause of the listed storms came during the terms of Republicans. Either Mother Nature hates them or the hot air generated by them is a major contributor to hurricane formations.

Personally, I don't care whether she is or isn't.
Imo, it's a mistake to let Trump direct the attacks and then try to follow up on them.
The Dems need to take charge of their direction and express it rather than letting trump steer them ultimately to his advantage.
