Licences

    Hi,
    This is the situation:

    I have:
    1x Netbook Running Windows 7 Starter
    1x Laptop Running Windows 7 Home Premium
    1x Vista Disc

    Problem:
    I want to put the Home premium windows 7 on my netbook but i dont know if the licence will deactivate when i install vista on my laptop and take 7 off.

    No it wont.
    Of course you will have to Activate Windows 7 after the new installation

    Is there any way that i can keep the licence from the laptop i really need it

    The OS you have will be linked to the computer. Major sellers put an OS on that will not run anywhere but where they put it- part of the price of getting it cheaper. The OS will be told what hardware to find and if its not there, it will not work. Sorry but thats the way thy do it :)

    Guess What ?

    You were all wrong. I installed vista on my laptop and used the windows 7 product key to upgrade my netbook using anytime upgrade. :)

    No, we're not wrong. What you did was illegal. Your car is probably capable of traveling over the speed limit. Doing so is still illegal.
