Dear Tech Support, I have been trying to use an app called Magix Photo Maker 15 Deluxe, which I purchased a download copy years ago. Well there has been a time lapse since I last used that app and so it needs to verify my license but it is not able to connect to the internet and it gave me the reason being that "I needed to be connected to the internet" even though I am connected to my Att Pace 5268AC router.

I can see from "The Recent Posts", that my thread has had 6 replies already Thank You, but for some reason they are not showing up on my screen?
Is there a different window I'm supposed to go to view this thread?

You appear to be using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit in a very old Dell OptiPlex 755 Desktop
What's the exact 7-character "service tag" number on yours?

Are you able to connect to the internet (via ethernet or wireless) and load various webpages?

According to that service tag number, you have THIS Dell OptiPlex 755.
According to its system configuration and warranty sections, it was purchased in July 2008 and came with Windows XP Pro SP2 32-bit.
According to your log, it appears some of the original hardware in yours has been upgraded or replaced or removed.
I've owned a few of the 755's, so I'm aware they can handle Windows 7 Pro 64-bit just fine.
However, they're too old and slow to run Windows 10 Pro 64-bit decently, so I've never installed it in any of mine.

Thanks for clarifying yours has an active connection and can load webpages just fine.
I was assuming it was having a connection issue.

You're probably actually referring to the Magix Photo Manager 15 Deluxe app.
See if the "Technical Support" section HERE is of any help to you.
I don't know how old your version is, so there may be an issue with it not being compatible with Windows 10.

What you were seeing was probably how many people have viewed the thread not replies.

    Thank you for your response.
I actually bought this Dell 755 online for just over $100.00 back in I think it was 2014. They sold it to me as a refurbished computer and it came with windows 7. I was very happy with it , as it was an upgrade from my failing Dell OptiPlex GX620 running windows XP Service pack 3. And you are absolutely right sir it ran great with Windows 7.
then one day I reluctantly upgraded to the complimentary version of Windows 10 and boy oh boy, that's when the headaches started! It actually stopped booting up and I hadn't messed with it for over a year. i just recently got it going again and that was mostly luck because I really don't know much about computers.
Oddly enough it is running pretty smoothly right now. I read somewhere that some time back one of the windows 10 updates was causing a lot of problems? I think that might have been why my Dell took such a drastic nose dive.
Yes I was reffering to the Magix Photo App not being able to connect to the web for a license verification. I have noticed that there is at least 1 more app that also didn't connect to the web.
Thank you sir for the suggestion, I will try the Technical Support section.
    Thanks.

    Thank you for your response!

All of the Dell OptiPlex 755 and 780 and 7010 and 9020 minitowers that I've bought since 2011 were refurbished.
Some of their original hardware (processor, RAM, hard drive, etc.) was added to or upgraded or replaced.
The 755's and 780's all came with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
The 7010's and 9020's all came with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
I've re-done and donated all of them, except for the five 9020's.

It's too bad your 755 doesn't have its fastest supported processor (Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33 GHz).
If it did, I would suggest increasing the amount of DDR2 RAM to 8 GB.

Type winver in the search box in the lower left taskbar area, then press the Enter key.
    A small window should appear.
Advise us what the exact "Version" and "OS Build" numbers are listed there.

Your Windows 10 is completely up-to-date, as of today. (y)
"Patch Tuesday" is tomorrow, so there should be more updates that change the OS Build number.
The next bi-annual update, Version 1909 OS Build 18363, should get released tomorrow or soon thereafter.

i haven't yet gone to the Support Section that you suggested earlier, been busy doing other things, but will look into it soon and will share what I find there.
By the way this is a very cool web site and I am greatful to you for being here for those of us who are compu-challenged.

Wow, how wonderful to have such a place where one can learn and be of service at the same time! That is really cool.
This is the first time that I have experienced such a thing. I am thankful for being able to be a part of this wonderful website, even if right now it is as one whom is in need of help.
    Thanks.
