LimeWire installation

hey im having a little bit of a hard time installing this...heres what i get when i run the script...
Preparing to install...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...
No Java virtual machine could be found from your PATH
environment variable. You must install a VM prior to
running this program.


what do i need to do?

You won't get any help installing LimeWire here. P2P file sharing programs are against forum poilcy.

Well to tell you the truth i could realy care less wether i get help w/ thing instaltion because i have the program on my windows hard drive....but i WOULD like to know for the advancement of my linux skills what all that meens.

here is a log of what happens ... i specified the java directory but i still get this.



[[email protected] trevor]$ export JAVA_HOME=./j2re1.4.2_04
[[email protected] trevor]$ export PATH=$PATH:./j2re1.4.2_04/bin
[[email protected] trevor]$ /home/trevor/LimeWireLinux.bin

/bin/ls: ./j2re1.4.2_04/bin/java: No such file or directory

Launching installer...

/home/trevor/LimeWireLinux.bin: line 1: ./j2re1.4.2_04/bin/java: No such file or directory

Just for a note, you need a java virtual machine. Look it up, because as
brushmaster1 said, p2p is against Forum policy. Generally they cause more problems than they are worth.

But in Linux most programs work better since Linux uses memory corect;y, file security is better, and Viruses are near to none on linux. (y)
so dont give up on linux, once you get the skills you need and find a good linux help source it will take off for you.
