Limiting the processes running?

    Can someone tell me what I need to do to limit the number of processes I have running on my pc.

    Defining which items in your start-up group that can be disabled from start-up is an individual process specific to your PC. If you you go to start\run and type in msconfig and go to the startup tab. Msconfig is available on Winxp systems however not on Win2000 or WinNT systems. If you have either then you can find someone who has WinXP and copy their Msconfig.exe for transport to your system.

    Once you have access to msconfig then review what you have currently starting on your system and see if they can be disabled.
    Use this Website in determining what you can disable safely.
