well that's probably why then. The memory is faster than the one your machine needs. If you can get the replacement, it should be recognised correctly and then your machine should boot normally.

Did you use the first link I gave you?

anothermom............ don't update the bios......this is very risky and if not done properly could kill your mobo....the bios was only mentioned to help you identify the beep codes........
