Hey everyone, I was thinking of foolling around with Linux, but it isn't my computer, so I was wondering if anyone knew where there is a good linux emulator, or something to that effect. I know that you can do that type of thing from PC's to Mac OS. Thanks in advance,

Try Knoppix it boots from cd and is not installed on your hard drive, then look around at other linux distro's, you might give JAMD a shot its easy to use and FREE. http://www.jamd-linux.org/ Lindows is a money making scheme in my opinion oh welcome to Linux!!!

If you have any problems linux iso org has burning instuctions.
Also 2 things might have to be reset in Bios
    1) enable booting from cd rom before booting from hdd
    2) change from os manages PNP to Bios manages PNP
    ENJOY!!!!
