Hello
I am pretty new to web creation. I am using FrontPage2000
I am checking my efforts with web tools (currently checking at http://www.echoecho.com/toolhtmlinspector.htm)
Question
How do I determine the line number in the HTML page?
(I tired counting, but that didn't seem to do the trick - I tried to copy & paste to Word & number the lines - nope)
I saw a post by 'HexStar' and she had an image listing line numbers - would love to know who to have that kind of view
I am trying to fix some syntax errors and the reports indicate examples such as -
line 27 Error: empty container element
.
line 77 Error: illegal context for - must appear in element.
I am not worried about the errors at this point, just how to identify the line number (I want to 'try-fail-try again' to learn how to correct the errors myself)
Thank you
