    Hi,,i am also having trouble on clicking on links that are within pages,,for instance the links that are in some of these messages,,when i click on them it does not take me anywhere?? using winxp pro

    Not sure if this will help, but might be worth a try: Go to Control panel>Mouse>Pointer options & put a tick in "Enhance pointer options"

    Another possible , try this .
    IE>>Tools>>Internet Options>>Advanced>>Browsing>>Reuse window for launching shortcuts.
    Disable & see if that helps.
