I have the Linksys 4-port ethernet etherfast router. I'm not 100% sure on model #, but that's not a big deal:

Okay - I plugged my DSL modem straight into my ethernet card on one of my pc's and it works fine - so no connection problems.

However, when it's in the router, nothing. Even after 2 minute power offs, the router stays with a green link light on and a red diag light on, on the far right - and nothing is hooked up right now. No lightning storms lately, and it won't seem to reset, or perhaps it's stuck on reset.

Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried to see if you use the other plugs in the router if it works? I mean I am only using 1 of 4 places on mine.

Okay - it's definitely done for then - any idea on the length of the warranty? I'm probably outside it...oh well

Yep sounds like you need a new one.

The warranty is a year on it.
