Linksys Router problems

    i had this linksys Router BEFSR41 and like its not working. im connecting throught the internet through a connection to me modem. I have reset the router and modem several times. The ip address changed from the default router one. how do i get it working again. How do i restore all router settings to default. I tried accessing the router stuff by typing the ip in Internet Explorer but it wont open. I think my computer doesn't recognize my router anymore.:confused: please help. my family keeps complaining to me. The original ip was like 192.168. something i forget...

    Your router most likey has a reset button. Use a pin or something similar and press and hold the button in and it will reset everything to factory defaults.

    resetting it will reset everything to factory defaults. If it didn't then you didn't do it correctly.

    Try using: 76.102.240.1 in your browser and see if that pulls up the router page.

    it used to be a different ip to bring up the router page. Everytime i plug it in it says Connection is limited or theres no connection at all. it used to be 192.168.1.101

    Sounds like a dead router.
