I have an old Power Macintosh G3 that I would like to install a version of Linux on. Here are my questions:

    1) What distributions would you recommend to run on this MAC? Power Macintosh G3, PowerPC G3/233 Mhz, 320MB of ram.
    2) Since the MAC doesn't have a burner on it, can I download the ISO for the distribution onto my PC, then burn the CD from there and boot the MAC from this CD?

thanks in advance for your advice,
