I have bought a second-hand computer a Dell Latitude D520, it didn't have a operating system on it, I installed Linux Mint. I already had a BT hub and tried a wireless connection with the hub but didn't succeed, the wireless device on the computer is enabled, I contacted the people I bought the computer from they recon the Linux drivers are not compatible with BT broadband, do you have any suggestions?

Nothing more specific than "didn't succeed"? Do you detect the signal? Detect any signals?

Can you connect with encryption disabled? What encryption are you using? Does the wireless adapter support that encryption?
